Mole, snail, goldfish - Guido Quarzo, illustrated by Nicoletta Ceccoli
A story that tackles the difficult subject of difference and disability.
The three little characters use their language to talk about reality, seen through their "inner voice", the non judgemental voice that listens and lets everybody live at their own pace.

Guido Quarzo is a former primary school teacher and organizer of theatre and creative writing workshops. He published his first work in 1989 and has been successful ever since, with books translated in Spanish, English and Dutch.

Nicoletta Ceccoli has illustrated many books in Italy and in the US, and was awarded several international prizes.

Once there was a flower - Angela Nanetti, illustrated by Pia Valentinis
Time can be described in many ways. Angela Nanetti chooses metamorphosis, as if it was a child's memory. In this book, time, musings and illustrations blossom like flowers and, thanks to Pia Valentinis's delightful and inspiring drawings, rise up like butterflies.

Angela Nanetti is one of the most loved authors in Italy and abroad. She was awarded the Italian Andersen Book Prize, the French Prix Chronos and she is included in the Ibby Honour List. Her books are published in more than twenty countries.

Pia Valentinis has illustrated and published books for both national and international publishers; her works have been seen in many collective and personal exhibitions.
