Leonardo da Vinci: Stories and Legends
Leonardo da Vinci was not only a genius and an innovator known for his artistic works and futuristic machines, he was also a narrator of witty fables and legends which tried to teach children moral commitment. The real character of his stories is nature: water, air, animals - both real and mythological - which are alive, have thoughts and even the gift of speech. The fables and legends in this book were re-elaborated by Bruno Nardini from the notes and maxims which Leonardo wrote in various parts of his large corpus of manuscripts.
